How to install Froyo 2.2 in Samsung Galaxy Pro:

  • Download the Froyo JPKC4 2.2 Zip file and unzip it to get the files and also you need to download the flash tool Odin. Extract your all files to the desktop to make the process easy while updating your phone. Do not re-name your files in any case as Odin will then face problems recognizing it.
  • Turn off your phone now and just let it be able to download which means it is in safe mode. Once you are in the download mode a green screen will appear. One thing to note is if your device is still running in the normal mode with your home screen then switch off your phone and re try the process again and if still you run the same problem then fix the download error mode in your phone.

After completion of all these steps connect the phone to computer where you have downloaded the zip files. When you connect your USB cable all you have to do is open the Odin software and when you connect them both the ID COM block will turn in yellow by then you have to shift your files by just clicking on the option given. Re-check the whole process and then proceed and just push the button start to continue the firmware update process. And this process will hardly take 5minutes. Do not interrupt the flashing process as to enjoy the further services and without bricking your phone. Soon you will notice the Odin screen and wait for a while to home screen to appear on your phone. Once your home screen appears you are done with your installing the latest firmware of 2.3.3 Gingerbread for your Galaxy Gio Android phone.
