Update Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread XXKPK on Samsung Galaxy Mini S5570

The official update of Android 2.3.3 gingerbread XXKPK is now available by Samsung KIES Russia, but you can also install it from other regions also. This update has number of feature which are improved and modified along with the fixing of bugs which were there in Froyo 2.2 version of Android.

• The user interface is now improved with the use of Touch wiz 3.0 Lite, now hopefully you will not feel like using previous one.

Pre Update Installation

• You must have synced all your contacts with the Google account, Must have back up of all the application likes music, sms, videos otherwise it may lose. You can move all your data to the SD card for safety, and it may also happen that SD card may get corrupted so better make your backup in PC also.
•  Create back up of all the internet settings along with the MMS setting so that you can configure them later as well.
• Remove the Sim card along with the external SD card if any.
• Make it sure that you r phone have more than 50% battery power left to complete the procedure completely.
• If you have rooted your phone earlier, then you have to root it again after the firmware update.
• Make sure that you have closed the KIES completely, as this might cause interruption in the process because this is the beta release not the official release , so some issues might arise throughout the process.

Steps to Upgrade:-

• Install Gingerbread 2.3.3 update file in your computer and after that unzip the file.
• Open the “Odin Multi Up loader” file from the folder and turn your phone off and turn it on in the download mode.
• For download mode press the “Volume Down button + Home key button” and holding these both together turn on the device.
• Connect your phone to the desktop with the help of usb cable .If your phone is connected properly to the odin multi downloader signal , the COM port turn yellow and now you can click on Start.
• It will take approx 5 minutes and your phone will reboot successfully after installation. If the COM Port box turn in blue color and display “Pass” that means flashing process was successful
• You are done now you can enjoy gingerbread on your device.
