This is excellent news for all users and owners of Samsung Galaxy Tablet!  And that the Android 4.0.1 an Alpha version of Ice Cream Sandwich is now supporting the Galaxy Tab. We must thank those from the XDA Developer who were the ones responsible to make this possible for all of us to enjoy and to try the Android version.

Honeycomb is the custom Operating System by Android that is intended for the PC’s tablet only before. Galaxy Tab apparently was the first one among the PC tablets to arrive with Honeycomb Android. And it is now possible to install the Ice Cream Android 4.0.1 on your Galaxy Tablet.

Prior to getting started you must ensure that you have already rooted your device in the ClockworkMod Recovery and have installed it also . Its developers said that it must be in the 2.X Android based-Gingerbread bootloader and must have the file EXT 4 format. And for your device safety you must ensure that your device has enough battery for it to last through this entire process.

Things to be noted:

Supported Versions for GSM networks:
• P1000
• P1000N
