There are many after market launcher applications to change the number of home screen on your android device like LauncherPro and ADW.Launcher. Some people like the stock launcher that comes pre-installed on their devices and just want to customize it rather change it entirely. Users having Xperia arc can now increase the number of home screen from 3 to 5, 7, 9 or 11 depends on you. XDA Senior member vr5411 has build a which thread includes mods that will allow users to select how many home screens they want on their Xperia Arc Devices.

The rom is actually a modified home.apk file that can be easily installed on the device like any other apk’s, so there is a slight risk. The developer has posted the original home.apk for users who want to revert back in-case any one forgot to make a backup. One thing ti be noted is that the rom will only work on xperia arc devices runing on firmware version:2.2.A.0.14.
