How to install Windows live Hotmail app on Android device

Microsoft has recently released an android app for hotmail service and it is now officially avaialble in the android app store.Still now the mainstream users are associated with hotmail service, so it will be a good news for the hotmail users and android users too.This app is also providing email features such as calandar and contact syncronization, push email, multiple accounts support . You can also view folders and subfolders through the app and along with this you can also send pictures attachments.

Steps to install Windows live Hotmail app on Android device:-

  • Initially you have to download the official app not the third party app.
  • Now you have to go to Application from the main menu screen or you can directly open it . Now you have to enter the username and password then it will ask you for the next option to proceed the configuration.
  • After clicking on the next option you can see the welcome screen , after that next will be licence agreement details and next to it sync details. Enter your nickname and the other info it is asking for.
  • After the configuration completed you can see your inbox and many options such as Home, All mails, Inbox, Search feature etc. To see more options such as Contacts, Synchronization at, General Settings,Refresh Data and folders you have to tap on Menu key.
  • Now you can easily compose your mails by clicking on “Menu” key and then select the “Compose” option.
