Steps to Flash Firmware from your Device with Mobile Odin:-

  1. Mobile ODIN flashing is very easy. You begin by starting the application. This application will check that your system has all things the application needs in order to continue (such as root). This may guide you to install the extra package from its Market (free).
  2. Now then you must find the Mobile ODIN main screen. This will list the set of the partitions.
  3. When clicking the partition permits you to be able to select the file along your own SD card for flashing in to that partition. Do not ever worry when choosing the wrong file-the Mobile ODIN will not allow you. The separate files (named just after its partition) and .tar.md5 files are really supported.
  4. Along the desktop ODIN you may be accustomed to buttons ‘Phone’, ‘CSC’ and ‘PDA”. All three of these buttons was replaced by the button ‘Open file’. Then this button will allow you to open a file that you have selected along its SD card, and then you will find all those partitions that may be flashed inside the file. Then if you choose the .tar file that contains modem and kernel, its Modem and kernel partitions will be then set up to be able to use the .tar file for your flashing.
  5. And now that you have chosen those that you like to flash, when you have the version Pro you may proceed along the section EverRoot. This option EverRoot will permit you to root you own firmware even while flashing. And you may never be without root again! Choose here the applications that you like to inject on the firmware that is flashing.
  6. Then now that you are finished choosing the partitions and configuring the EverRoot then will continue to have ‘Flashing firmware’. The Mobile ODIN will accumulate all the data that it needs and to perform its flash. Just prior to start, however, this will check out that the battery level will be over 50 percent, and then if applicable offer to check out MD5 check-sums in the files that you have chosen to flash. Then when all is well will reboot in the recovery mode then will flash the firmware that you have chosen.
