Medion Lifetab Review – 10 inch Honeycomb Tablet

Medion is a well renowned consumer electronics company with background in computers and notebooks manufacturing.  At the IFA event held in Berlin, Medion amazed all by intricu7cing introduced a tablet (Medion Lifetab P9514) with 10-inch display.  In the section below, we have discussed few attributes of Lifetab. Have a look over the features of this smart tablet.Configuration of Medion Lifetab P9514

Medion Lifetab P9514 has been developed for European market. This stylish tablet runs on dual core NVIDIA Tegra 2 chipset supported by the Android Honeycomb 3.2 operating system powered by Google.   That is a good assurance for stability and performance.  The wide 10.1 inches touch screen is in fact the best part of this tablet.

The tablet has a 5MP rear side camera capable of high quality video recording. Moreover a front facing camera (2MP) is also included that can be used for making 3G calls and video chat.

Connectivity

Connectivity options for Medion Lifetab would include 3G data connectivity (UMTS and HSDPA),

The device is in full support and compatibility with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPRS and EDGE. Moreover, DLNA support has been included that would allow users to share multimedia with other DLNA enable devices.

The added benefit comes in the form of USB and HDMI ports. HDMI port is something that is not included in most of the tablets.

Memory

It is not yet confirmed whether Lifetab would be available with 16 GB or 32 GB of internal storage. The device includes a micro SD card slot for expanding the storage capacity. For sure, it is beyond the storage offered by iPad 2, Samsung Galaxy Tab and Motorola Xoom.

The overall configuration of this machine is quite good but Medion has failed to put ac check on weight of Medion Lifetab P9514. The weight of about 720 grams makes it bulky.  This will clearly hinder the portability. Medion Lifetab would be available for about 399 Euros. There is no official confirmation about the date of release but sources tell an expected launch in fourth quarter of year.

The tablet is good all you need is to pay the price, which might prove a bit heavy on pocket.
