Its a good news for Nexus S and Galaxy S i9000 users. CyanogenMOD 9 is released by the well  recognized developer who is basically responsible for Nexus S; Koushik Dutta. The bugs in Previous Alpha rom’s like missing dictionaries, duplicate keyboards and Google Wallet is fixed now . But there are still some bugs like Choppy video playback and MMS is apparently flaky.Everything seems to be running great so far, and this ROM can easily be a daily driver for most enthusiasts. You can download the Cyanogen 9 from XDA Developers

There is an another port based on CM is developed for Galaxy S i9000 device. Except the Camera (video recording) and Phone encryption, the rom is quite stable and everything else seems to be running great. You can root the rom from here.
