  • Turn off connectivity when not in use:- As the phone supoorts Wi-Fi and Bluetooth chances of getting battery low are more when they are in use. Wi-Fi  is highly used by the users to connect to wireless networks so it is to ensured that Wi-Fi is kept on for the period of time it is in use, for rest of time it must be switched off.
    • Time-Out Function- Android phone has a special feature of “Advanced Wi-Fi management screen”. It is to be kept active for the better management of Wi-Fi, and is activated by going through Wi-Fi settings tab and then choosing Menu Button. What it does is that it allows user to set a time period, after that Wi-Fi is switched off automatically and internet connection goes off. It is termed as Wi-Fi sleep policy which must be used when user use Wi-Fi for short periods.
  • Bluetooth Connectivity:- Bluetooth version 2.1 is supported by Titanium with EDR support which easily allows you to send / transfer data and also streams media files. In piring Bluetooth draws excess of power from battery so user must be conscious regarding turning it off when bluetooth is not in use. Leaving it open, when not in use will drain out your phone’s battery soon.
  • GPS Usage:- Motorola Titanium is GPS enabled means you can figure out your position anywhere, but if GPS usage is not managed wisely it will drain out both your money and your phone’s battery power. GPS requires continous navigation through satellites for which it requires high power, so phone’s battery drains quickly when GPS is in use. Turning it off when not in use will sort out issue and also it must be used only and only when the user is in open place i.e. it must not be used inside as there it don’t receive signales either and your battery power is used in bad fashion.
  • Low Ringtones:- Message alert tone, Alarm tone, call ringing tone and various other notification laerts must be kept at low ringing volume. Setting them at high levels of volume will drain your battery sooner as when any type of media streams phone’s battery lowers quickly. So better manage it significantly.
  • Turning Off Background apps:- Sometimes user forgot to exit one application and switches on the next app so like that various applications remain running in background while other processes are also running so it means battery power is getting low at a faster rate. For this user can excess an app called “Advanced task killer app” which sincerley allows you to kill all your applications which are running silently in bcakground. One can also excess applications setting section to forcefully stop all the background running apps, it must be kept in mind that killing all apps in one go may hang your phone so better do it individually and switch on a app after properly exiting the previous app.
  • Multimedia settings:- Mutlimedia features and Android app are the best aprt of it but their excess usage draing the battery of phone quickly so they must be used significantly. LED flash of camera must be used when the surrounding light is dim, in daylight it must be kept off and should be used only at nights i.e in dark. Animated wallpapers and screensavers also suck a part of your battery though little bit but they do so they must not be used and better still wallpapers and themes should be used. As being a smartphone streaming multimedia files on it becomes necessary which can’t be stopped but one can stream multimedia like audio and video at lower volumes so it may not use an excess of batteyr power.
  • Manage Syncing:- Syncing has become a necessary need but it should be carried out at alternate intervals not very frequently. Auto sync feature must be used to on or off syncing.
  • Dust free battery:-  Say after 2-3 months user must clean his phone’s battery with a piece of clothe, it will clean out the dust will make your battery standing position even more batter. Make sure you don’t loose any battery contacts or it will create any technical problem.
