Tips for Saving battery life of HTC Flyer [how to]

Android phones have always been power hungry. You can’t really blame it on the batteries because it has to support so many things that a smart phone with Android OS comes with. All those great features of a smart phone need battery power for support but that doesn’t mean that you have to charge it 2 times a day. HTC Flyer is a great Android based smart phone but the battery life of this phone is kind of a let down. However, let me tell you that you can save a lot of battery support by following some simple tips. I am explaining the tips right now.

  • Some of us think that over charging a battery will help to increase the battery life. The truth is that over charging a battery will only harm the battery and you will get less battery support. The HTC Flyer takes no more than 4 hours to be fully charged when the battery is down so never over charge it.
  • One thing about HTC Flyer’s battery that you can be sure about is that it may get damaged if you charge it many times a. always try to charge it only when its down less than 15% and then charge it till its full. Charging the battery over and over for less than 10% is very harmful for the battery life.
  • I know it’s easier to charge your HTC Flyer by connecting it to your computer. That makes things easier for you but that also makes the battery life less for the battery. Charging with the USB is not a proper way of charging and that’s why it’s always better to charge with the electric charger.
  • Some people like to clean the battery often. It’s not a bad idea but don’t do it too much. If you open the battery too much then it harms the battery pins. HTC Flyer’s battery can be cleaned one time in every three months and that should be enough. If the pins are damaged then the battery life will decrease.
  • The Wi-Fi is a very demanding feature so make sure that you turn it off when not using it. That way you can save a significant amount of energy of the phone.
  • HTC Flyer has a big and bright screen. The screen is good for display but it needs a good amount of battery life. Turn the brightness down when using the phone normally.
  • The phone has GPS service which helps you to find your location on the map. This feature keeps searching your location even when you don’t need it. Turn it off when not needed to save battery.

Over all, a controlled use of your HTC Flyer phone is required if you want to save battery life. Don’t use the phone unnecessarily and keep the volume down while using the speaker. There are some apps available in the Android Marketplace which helps to keep features under control and save battery life.
