  • Ensure that your mobile have atleast 90% battery back up so that it will not interrupt the updating process.

Instructions for the ROM users:-

While using ROM many components gets installed in the phone, and you have to clear them all. For this you have to enter in recovery mode;press the Volume Up key + home button and along with both the keys press the power button ,now choose wipe data/factory reset and then choose wipe cache partition. Next you have to reboot your mobile by selecting reboot system now after selecting the former option. This will delete all the cache files and now you can safely proceed further.

Steps to update Samsung Galaxy S2 with XWKH4 Gingerbread 2.3.4:

  • First you have to download the Gingerbread XWKH4 Zip file  at the desktop of your laptop/computer.
  • Extract the folder and you can see the two files i.e firmware tar file and odin flash tool.
  • Now open odin flash tool in your computer and turn your phone off and enter into download mode. To enter into the download mode you need to press Volume down key + Ok button and along with both the keys press the power button. You’ll see a green screen that means you are successfully enter into the download mode.
  • Now connect your mobile with your pc with the help of USB data cable . Connecting will start installing the files which odin requires to detect the phone, and then you can see the ID:COM block in the odin will turn into yellow which means all the drivers have been successfully installed.
  • Click on Start in the odin flash tool and the update will Process and after the processing your mobile will restart that means you have upgraded successfully.
  • Now again you have to enter into recovery mode; press the Volume Up key + home button and along with both the keys press the power button ,now choose wipe data/factory reset and then choose wipe cache partition and then you have to reboot your mobile by selecting reboot system now after selecting the former option.
