Android 4.0 in Asus PadFone

Asus PadFone! As the name implies it is an integration of both the Pad and the Phone. This new gizmo promises to provide the pleasure of two worlds under one device. The benefits of the Pad and the Smartphone are blended together awesomely in it. You do not need to carry both your tablet and your Smartphone because they are now integrated to ONE i.e. PadFone. The mix of the tablet and the phone is an entirely new concept undoubtedly but not to be forgotten it is a good combination. This thought might give its sales a good height.

  • This PadFone has best of the hardware with Honeycomb 3.0 loaded in it right now. With the launch of Android’s Ice-cream sandwich it could be easily upgraded with it. After that it would not only be the best in terms of hardware but definitely in terms of the OS too.
  • The Ice-cream sandwich (Android 4.0) is a forthcoming OS by Google and would work with best of speed and efficiency. The idea is to bring the best of the features of Gingerbread and Honeycomb together. Its launch could be by the end of this year.
  •  The tablet is merely 10.1 inches with 4.3 inches Smartphone at its backside in the same device.
  • This PadFone has features like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and has support for all the formats like DivX, AAC, FLAC and AC3 etc.
  • Some of the other great features are support for 3G, best of camera with autofocus feature, video conferencing and many more.
  •  The battery backup is such a pain for the users when out of reach of the power supply. This device has excellent battery backup with as compared with other tablets.

The device’s cost is expected to be really low because it has been created focusing on a larger mass of people. It is approximated to be around 500$ only. This quoted price is surely affordable when you are getting a Smartphone and a Tablet both for it. The best part is both of them operate on different batteries and when your phone is docked-in you can switch between the phone’s display and the tablet’s display. In short the device is best in terms of memory, battery, features, looks and everything.
