Install ClockworkMod Recovery in Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet – How To

  • Ensure that your ThinkPad Tablet Lenovo has the charge of at 70% in order to prevent this from just shutting down while this installation process is going on.

Ways to install the ClockworkMod Recovery into your rooted Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet :

  • You must download this image file Clockwork Mod Recovery for the Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet . Just get it from here. Then save this into your own computer and you do not modify this file or do not rename it also.
  • Just copy this image file onto the similar folder in your own computer where the ‘adb.exe’ is to be located.
  • Then you open also the prompt command in your own computer.
  • And then you have to change the directory into where this adb.exe is so then the image file CWM is found.
  • And lastly just type these commands in the prompt command  one at one time (Just click Enter this key after every line of command ):

 adb push cwr_ventana_2.img /data/local/
adb shell
su
mount -o rw, remount /system
echo “#!/system/bin/sh” > /system/etc/install-recovery.sh
dd if=/data/local/cwr_ventana_2.img of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p1
reboot recovery

When you have followed well these instructions and carefully, then your own device must reboot into the Clockwork Mod Recovery. I now congratulate you!
