Managing battery usage in Android Smartphones

Android comes with houseful of applications and features that everyone loves to use. If the user uses many applications of the smart phone and is not aware of managing battery tricks, then they must be fed up with the problem of frequent battery level going low and charging it frequently.

Therefore, it is quite crucial to know how to prevent the battery from draining out frequently. Use the battery application to monitor the application being used at one time. The applications not in use simply turn it off using this feature. This battery application shows all the others application running in background, which the user may not even know. Adjust the brightness according to the usage, it should be low when the phone is in the bag and the user is busy with something else.

GPS, another very useful application available with Android is not a requirement for everyone. In case the user does not use this application and does not allow other application to use the information regarding the location where they are, they need to switch off such services to maximize the battery life and enable them enjoy other features for longer time.

People love to watch videos on their Android smart phones, for that, they require Adobe Flash. However, Adobe Flash slows down the internet connection and the websites take longer time to open up as Flash loads the videos and animation on the website and in addition uses more battery all the time. To save battery and for faster internet, set mode of Adobe Flash to “on demand” so that the phone uses such feature only when required.

Through the battery application, check out for the unnecessary usage of Wi-Fi and Bluetooth feature. Just switch them off when not accessing any internet services or exchanging any data. They play a great role in using a large amount of battery when switched on.

The most basic way of saving battery is switching to the power saving mode and not performance mode; it slows down the phone a little bit, but increases battery life to large extent. Another way, regularly and properly update every application of the smart phone.
