Root Samsung Galaxy S2 GT I9100 on Gingerbread 2.3.5 XXKI3 Firmware[How to]

Many people have updated their Samsung Galaxy S2 GT I9100 with the more stable XXKI3 Gingerbread 2.3.5 Firmware. It allows them better experience of use. To make it even better, you can root the phone over the update. Let me tell you how to do that but be sure that you really want to go with it. Things to do before rooting

• Before doing anything else, you must take back ups from your phone memory to save data. Use the Android sync to save all you contacts in the Google server. You can download them later.
• There are many apps that you can use to take back up of your messages. The apps also allow you to restore the messages once the rooting process is completed.

• You need to turn your Samsung Galaxy S2 GT I9100 in download mode. Turn off your phone first and then turn it on again while pressing the Volume Down button and the Ok button. This will enable the download mode.
• Connect the phone with the PC by using the USB cable. You will see that Odin will indicate that the phone is connected.
• Click the PDA tab from Odin and you will be asked to load a specific file named CF-Root-SGS2_XX_OXA_KI3-v4.1-CWM4. You will find it from the extracted files.
