HTC G1 First Android phone to get Ice Sandwich 4.0.1 – Video

The one who says that 2010 and previous device’s will not receive ice cream sandwich is proved wrong here. Who were they? Anyways let’s forget them, here is the device HTC G1 (Godfather of all android devices)which was released  3 years back in 2008 with Android 1.0 and a 528 MHz processor and 128MB of RAM, the developers who are really focused on their work have managed to run Android 4.0 on the HTC G1 device. A few time back HTC G1 was seen supporting an unofficial honeycomb port, but here is its new version by jcarrz1 from XDA-Developers which is showing off this device running on Android 4.0 in this video. So far the touch-screen, all application and goodies are working whereas Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and rotation are still out. After-all every device takes a good time to load up and reach the perfect level, so it’s not a big deal. If you are still watching that 3 years old HTC G1, we advise you to check out this video. Thank Gawd jcarrz1 and his team has started work on the old Android handsets and really put Google and other manufacturers to shame who said that it’s couldn’t be done. I will be really happy to see your comments if you are really surprised by this news or not?
